How it is protected
Passwords are stored using one-way scrypt hashing — they cannot be read back.
Uploaded documents are stored outside the website folder and only served to people allowed to see them.
You are signed out automatically after a period of inactivity.
The database is backed up automatically and old backups are rotated.
When the app is published on the internet it should be served over HTTPS so the connection is encrypted.
Money
Hagbad Manager is a record-keeping tool. It does not hold, move or transfer money. All payments happen directly between participants and the organiser.
Your choices
Ask your organiser for a copy of your records at any time — you can also download your payment history yourself.
Ask for a correction if something looks wrong. Corrections are recorded as adjustments so the history stays complete.
Participants who have financial records are never deleted; they are marked as withdrawn so the round's history stays accurate.
